I'm also madly in love with Hypnose from Lancome though it's very very recognizable on anyone. Passion flower, vetiver, jasmine, vanilla absolute. A great woody exotic scent and definitely hypnotic...
I've loved amigurumi for a long time. Especially the ones made by Elisabeth Doherty as seen on her flickr page >
She seems to have done pretty well since the Flicker's years. She had a book published this year:
And her website > http://gourmetamigurumi.com
My grandma used to crochet us poodles in a similar way but they were nowhere as cute as the ones above (plus there were not stuffed but had a rigid body made of plastic tubes). Nobody does it better than Ms Doherty in the Western world. She's really the Louis Vuitton of Amigurumi.
I'm also desperate to find this panther/cougar bracelet in purple:
The one I have seen advertised cannot be found on the brand's online shop. I assume they incorrectly id'ed it. I have browsed dozens and dozens of websites, all I can find is the black version and often from US sellers. With the new importation rules at RM, unless the seller declares it as having no commercial value, I'll have to pay a very high charge. Duh... It's apparently inspired by the Cartier panther bracelet worn by the Duchess of Windsor in the 30's. For some reason, I feel this design will be a big hit!
Another small online business I like (the one where I bought my om and mala bracelet) http://www.pinklotus.co.uk
I bought packs of incense today because they had sent me a free pack in my first order and I liked the smell a lot. I take it was of very good quality as it totally purified the air and the smell of stale tobacco.
They stock a lot of beautiful Tibetan craft and as mypashmina.co.uk they're pretty much into Fair Trade.
